Description
RailWorks worked throughout Kettle Falls International Railway to expand its capacity and to bring it up to FRA operating standards. Formerly part of BNSF, the line operates in northeastern WA, and southeastern British Columbia.
Scope
RailWorks constructed a new 7,200-foot siding in Chewelah, WA, and worked closely with the railway’s engineering department to correct track defects and make improvements to bring the entire line into compliance with FRA operating standards.
